Mart Gallery is a space where music meets art. When a sonic assault is not enough to feed your salacious appetite for music… You want more. We want to help satisfy that empty hole by exhibiting art with music at its heart.

Mart Gallery will have no boundaries on the types of mediums exhibited. We will show pretty much anything we love that has had music run through its veins at some point in its life. From the artists who make album covers and tour posters, to photographers and video clip directors, interviewers, writers and even musicians who express themselves in forms other than their music, we want to show it all.

“Having worked in the music industry on most sides of the flip coin, in TV, radio, branding & marketing, label, management and sometimes a ‘trying’ musician myself, I have come across countless talented people, who the public would have hardly heard about. These people are the ones who help musicians create their end image that is portrayed to the world, as well as somehow capturing our favourite moments and how we see them in our own minds for the rest of time. It’s time to put them in the spotlight” says Mel Nahas, Mart Gallery Director.

From August 2012 we will be presenting our Sydney exhibitions @   Gallery 2010 - 69 Reservoir St Surry Hills, just a hop, skip & large jump to the corner of our old place.
